How can I cancel my current rental contract?

Once the instrument has been returned to Dunkley Music your contract is ended. If there is an outstanding balance you will be billed for this amount. If your payments are late we will assess a late fee every 10 days. If after 40 days we have not been contacted by you your account will be relinquished to a collection agency.

I have not received my rental, where is it?

We process all online rental requests from our Boise store during regular business hours in the order that they are received. We are open from 9am-6pm Monday through Friday and from 9am-5pm Saturday. We are closed on Sunday. If we have not notified you via email that your rental has been processed within 72 hours please contact us at (208) 342-5549.

What percent of my rental payment will go toward equity?

The percentage of your payment that is applied to your equity varies as you go through your payment stream. The initial payments have a lower amount paid toward equity and they rise throughout the term of the contract.

Do you rent new instruments?

We do rent new instruments however due to the limited numbers in stock we ask that you come into our retail store in Boise to select the instrument of your choice if you would like to rent or purchase a new instrument. We offer quality used rental instruments that are in good working condition and are guaranteed to be free from defects for a period of ninety days after the start of your contract.

How do I help my student to pick an instrument?

We first suggest you ask your student's teacher if they recommend one specific instrument for your student. There are a few instruments that are simply too large for younger players to play. Second, ask your child which instrument he/she is interested in playing. On all string instruments you should either ask the student's teacher which size will fit your student or come into our retail locations in Boise, Twin Falls, or Nampa to be sized.
